The Fisheries and Maritime Museum is two kilometres northwest of the fishery harbour where the roads Tarphagevej and Hjertingvej fork. The main entrance faces Tarphagevej.
If you come to Esbjerg by train, you can reach the Museum on bus numbers 1, 3 and 8 from the railway station. If you come by car, there are signs to the Museum on the approaches to Esbjerg.
